One small click for you, but a giant leap for your contest!

We’re sure a lot of you guys (and gals) out there would be on facebook and orkut, so here’s a small innovation that we’ve included on the site by which you can post any contests that you like on your facebook profile page. Along with the contest appearing on your facebook profile page it also gets automatically sent to all your friends on facebook via the newsfeed.

One small click for you, but a giant leap for the number of plays a contest gets.

While we’re on the topic of facebook, we also have a c2w group on both facebook and orkut. You can join the facebook group by clicking here, and the orkut community by clicking here.

That’s all for my first post. Be sure to watch out for more from me!

    Hello,

What incentives are there for those who create contests? The least they should get are points.

I think all contests answers should be monitored. There are so many mistakes, that it spoils the real fun. Once a contest is created the creator should be able to edit it.

Another very important point, those contests we are playing and leave half way or cannot complete is shown in the incomplete list. I think, it should be deleted and not stored. Sometimes completed contests also shows up. Options of deleting in any control panel is missing, except messages.

    Hi Dhara,
There are a lot of incentives for users who are creating contests - we’ve given out cash rewards to 10 of our top creators last month plus this month we are giving out cash to the best Holi and best Video contest creators.

We are also working on a system where we might even share ad-revenue with creators.

We get almost 2000 contests created by our users each month - it’s difficult to manually moderate them for spelling mistakes. We would encourage our users to please check spellings while creating contests.

As far as the incomplete query is concerned, I’ve already posted about it here - http://blog.contests2win.com/2008/03/11/incomplete-contests/

We will consider the option of deleting from control panel.

    Thanks.
