C2W Announcement: New Quiz Skin + Add YouTube Videos to your Quizzes

We made a few changes on the site last night and many of you might have already noticed the new Quiz skin! It’s cool, slick and as Web 2.0 as possible!

You’ll also be shown the right answers now and I’m sure all the Prize Point scavengers will be very happy! Along with this the other features are bigger images, larger videos etc

We’ve also enable direct YouTube video embed now. You don’t have to download a YouTube video and upload it again. Just specify the URL of the video and the video will automatically be shown with the question.

We need your feedback. Feel free to report bugs which you may encounter and other suggestions! We are working on skins for the other engines and we’ll also make the YouTube Video embed option available on the other engines soon.

Announcement: Add Prizes to YOUR Contests

We get around 200 contests created everyday by our users. 200 is a huge number! Its not possible to give prizes and prize points to all these contests. So we are going to try out something new…

I received a mail a few days back by a user who said:

“You are not picking any of my contests for prizes or prize points. Because of this no one is playing my contest and this is the main reason I’m not making an money through my AdAccount. I don’t like asking people to click on my ads so I was wondering if I could add a prize to my own contest.”

Well we are going to try and experiment with this. If you want to attach a prize to your contest, all you have to do is send me a mail at devil@c2w.com along with the URL of the contest you’ve created and the prize which you want to give away. If approved you’ll have to courier the prize to us. Once the contest is over we will give it out to the winner. We’ll handle the courier charges while sending it to the winner (so you don’t have to pay for the courier charges twice).

Prize ideas?
It can be a cool book which you bought last month and now have no use for! Digital prizes would be cool too, like transferring Rs 200 cash to the winners bank account, a GiftMate voucher or OxiCash Mobile recharge voucher or maybe even a RapidShare premium account?

We have just launched youCharades.com. It is currently just an alpha release and we are working on the design and functionality.

What is youCharades all about?
We’ve basically taken the age old game of Charades (Dumb Charades) online. Now you can play charades acted out by others and can even upload your own charades.

We have noticed a lot of such messages being exchanged on the site…

You click on my google ads and I’ll click on yours.

Please consider this to be a warning and that too a final warning. If we ever see such messages being exchanged between people on the site and multiple clicks originating from a user’s IP, we’ll be removing the AdAccount feature from their profiles.

If you find other users doing this - then make sure you let me know about it. With people trying to manipulate AdSense, not only do you increase the chances of getting banned by Google but also the total payments get reduced dramatically. Even if others are doing this, since the domain is still Contests2win.com…all the users get affected. So please tell all your friends on the website about this.

If you really want more people to be clicking on your ads, please make better quality contests and share these by scrapping your friends on Orkut and emailing your classmates and colleagues. But please remember, multiple clicks from the account of any other C2W user will result in your account getting banned.

We won’t be partial to anyone. So even if you have been a really active user or one of the best creators - If we find out that you are trying to manipulate the system, we’ll simply knock you out of the system.
